‘The Road Ahead’ exhibition visits Queensland

THE AUSTRALIAN Trucking Association (ATA)’s ‘The Road Ahead’ travelling exhibition trailer has continued its 2009 schedule, with its most recent destination being South East Queensland.

As well as visiting the Australian Trucking Convention on the Gold Coast, the exhibition has visited schools in the Goondiwindi, Toowoomba and Ipswich areas in the past two weeks.

The ATA has reported plenty of local trucking support for the tour, with exhibition manager, Stuart Lewis, working closely with local transport operators to ensure the exhibition is a success.

The tour wraps up in Queensland with a visit to the Brisbane Truck and Machinery Show from 14 — 17 May 2009.

From there, The Road Ahead will look to their upcoming Western Australian tour in July and August, which will include a visit to the Perth Truck and Trailer Show.

The Road Ahead is a state-of-the-art semitrailer filled with interactive displays about road safety and the trucking industry. The exhibition centre will travel to schools, colleges and shows across the country
