THE Queensland Trucking Association (QTA) has invited its members and all trucking operators across Queensland to celebrate TruckWeek 2010.
According to the QTA, the event will also provide all trucking organisations and companies a chance to promote and discuss about truck safety.
As part of TruckWeek 2010, QTA says local trucking operators in urban and regional centres throughout Queensland are inviting the public to get a better understanding of the trucking industry.
“Over 75% of Australia’s freight task is carried by trucks and that percentage is expected to grow in the next 20 years,” QTA CEO, Peter Garske says.
“Through TruckWeek 2010 the trucking industry hopes to show the community that we are both professional and focussed on safety.”
