Hino announces new dealer for Tasmanian market

HINO Australia says its new dealer for the Tasmanian market will offer customers the choice of three outlets, covering the three main markets in the island State.

FRM Hino will operate dealerships in Hobart, Launceston and Devonport when it takes over from previous dealer cooperative Hino.

FRM Hino's head office is based in Launceston with branches in Hobart and Devonport, and has 20 mobile technicians, four parts staff and five sales staff.

While FRM may be new to selling Hino trucks, its Toyota connections stretch back for over 15 years as a Toyota Materials Handling dealer, including being Tasmania’s top Toyota Materials Handling dealer.

Hino Australia Chief Operating Officer Steve Lotter says the addition of FRM Hino to the national dealer network is vital for Hino's long-term goal to be the number one truck brand around Australia.
