Big names dominate 2009 Queensland Truck and Machinery Show

LEADING truck manufacturers took the prizes at the 2009 Queensland Truck and Machinery Show, with Mack Trucks taking out the top award.

Mack won Outstanding Truck Manufacturer Display, while other prominent companies featured in the awards ceremony.

Jost Australia won the Oustanding Vehicle Component and Equipment Display, while

Truck of the Show award went to Western Star.

O’Phee took home the Oustanding Trailer/Body Manufacturer Display, and Volvo’s Australian branch won the Risk Management Excellence award.

JCB Construction Equipment gaining recognition for Outstanding Earthmoving Manufacturer Display.

The ceremony was held following a speech from Queensland Minister for Transport Rachel Nolan.

The event ran for four days from 14 May to 17 May 2009.
